NEWSPER @ 24 HOURS AREA,
INFORMATION RESOURCE CENTRE (IRC)

Project Newsper was held as one of the efforts to
combat plastic pollution that has affected the world. This
project is in line with UNITEN Zero Waste Campaign,
where the University encourages the students to adopt
a green attitude by cleaning up and sorting waste.

UNIREADY 2019 @ UNITEN

15 - 21 February 2019

University Readiness Program (UniReady) is specially
designed for SPM leavers in providing them input
regarding university courses and education. This year,
UniReady 2019 @ UNITEN was conducted from 15 to
21 February 2019 and participated by 110 participants.
The participants of this program were infused with
academic input, leadership skills, and soft skills that
could shape the way they think.

4 bEIjING DEbATE OPEN
20 - 24 February 2019

UNITEN debate teams competed in the 4 Beijing
th
Debate Open and had 4 consecutive rounds of
debate, competing among 88 other teams which were
mostly from China, Korea, and Japan. Competing with
experienced teams was no easy task. However, with
the determination and perseverance, UNITEN debate
teams successfully emerged as the champion and 2
nd
runner up.
