UNITEN GREEN MILLENNIAL EXHIbITION
(UGME) 2019

22 – 24 March 2019

In an effort to go green, be clean and environmentally
friendly, the Preparatory Program for Excellent Students
(PPES) organized UNITEN Green Millennial Exhibition
2019 (UGME) from 22 to 24 March 2019. Three
events were held simultaneously including Arduino
Workshop, LEGO Robotics Competition and Innovation
Competition. The exhibition was graced by Prof. Dato’
Ts. Dr. Mohd. Zamri Yusoff, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of
Student Affairs, Alumni and Management.

SPEAK OUT FOR ENGINEERING (SOFE)

04 April 2019

Bhoshaga Mitrran, 20, a first year Bachelor of Civil
Engineering student represented UNITEN, Malaysia
and Southeast Asia in the Global Final and won the
Second Place in the Competition. The Speak Out for
Engineering (SOFE) is a public speaking competition
organized by the Institution of Mechanical Engineering,
UK which is designed to develop verbal and visual
communication in explaining technical mechanical
engineering related subjects to non-technical audience
members.

KEMbArA bAKTI UNITEN 2019

06 April 2019

UNITEN KSHAS students participated in a corporate
social responsibility activity at Pantai Chedoq, Pontian,
Rompin, on 6 April 2019. The students joined hands
with Rompin SWCorp, Rompin Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd.,
and Rompin District Council to clean up the beach and
segregate the waste.
