COUNCIL UNION (AUSCU) CONFERENCE
03 - 07 September 2019

Muhammad Hafiz Roslee, a Bachelor in Computer Science
(Cyber Security) (Hons.) student from CCI, represented
rd
Malaysia at the 3 ASEAN University Students Council
Union (AUSCU) Conference in Bangkok, Thailand from
3 to 7 September 2019. This conference mainly focused
on bringing out the utmost potential of youths to instil
volunteering spirits and recommend progressive plans
to be presented at the higher level of ASEAN Senior
Officials Meeting on Youths (SOMY) for a brighter ASEAN.

A FEATHER IN ONE’S CAP, SHINE FOR
FUTURE

12 September 2019

A group of 25 volunteers from both UNITEN campuses,
assembled, armed with robust spirits and ambitious effort
to bring the idea of installing solar panels and ultimately,
a light source into a village of indigenous people situated
in Kampung Orang Asli Pos Lemoi, Cameron Highlands.
The project, Shine for Future, which was founded by
Naqib Muhiddin, 20, a student of Bachelor in Mechanical
Engineering, was organized by UNITEN Foundation Club.
The team consists of 43 crews and 25 volunteers who
worked on both Phase 1 and Phase 2.

MALAYSIA SISWASAT 2019
17 September 2019

Three UNITEN COE teams (UNITEN, Zephyrus-1 and
Cenderawasat) participated in the Malaysia Siswasat
2019 organized by Agensi Angkasa Negara (MySA) from
March till September. They designed and developed
nano-size satellite equipped with telemetry. They
underwent stages of competition such as presentations
of proposal of mission, preliminary design review (PDR),
critical design review (CDR), and the final competition.
