It is designed for a zetec block but i don't know if switching to that head takes a special piston or not.

I'm planning a new project with a Ford Zetec 2.0 Block and a special head. Is it possible to get more info about part number 298715
and 298712 (Compression height / Dish or Dome and volume ±) possibly a cross-sectional view of the piston. It's give a Turbo (250-
300 hp).

Ja, ja, mit der PS Angabe habe ich ein bisschen übertrieben für hiesige Verhältnisse, aber die Ami’s sind sich
halt an «BigPower» gewöhnt mit ihren Monstermotoren.
Abwarten und Kaffee trinken, hoffentlich sind Die auch so
schnell wie die obigen…

Es gibt das Set ja in 2 verschiedenen Ausführungen, einmal mit 9:1 und einmal mit 11:1 Verdichtung. Mor-
gen messe ich mal die Brennräume von CVH und Zetec aus, damit ich in etwa weiss, welches Set besser hin-
kommt. Möchte den Kopf nämlich nicht unnötig viel abfräsen.
Kopfdichtung???
Die FELPRO CV704 von Burtonpower ist laut
Webseite 1.85 mm dick, die ZVH Cometic von
Sitech Racing nur 1.2 mm, Felpro ist günstiger,
jedoch erübrigt sich bei der Cometic ein ver-
schliessen der Oil drain’s im Block.
Sehe da zwar keinen grossen Unterschied.
