1.3.9. Optiional blade extension
The blade extensioon is reusable.
- Handling of the blade extennsion (see figure 24) is similar aas the shimm/broach prrocedure
(see prrecedent chapter 1.33.8 Shim, broach andd shim/brooach holder). Clip thhe blade
extensioon lug in thhe shim/brooach holder dedicatedd claw on the top end of the holdder (see
picture 16).
- Make sure the luug is well tigghtened byy the holder claw (seee figure 17) before locking the
blade extension byy pushing tthe firing piin (with thee thumb) (ssee picture 18).

- Insertt the bladee extensionn into the bblade dediccated slot until the suitable deppth (see
figure 225).
