12. Cleaning the Bone Mill
Follow the universal precautions wearing protective apparel when handling and cleaning
contaminated instruments.
A. The Motor Frame
1. Remove the Battery-power-pack from the Motor frame before cleaning.
2. Place the Battery-power-pack on the Charging platform for charging.
3. Do not immerse the Motor frame in any liquid, do not power wash.
4. Immediately after use, with a non-metallic soft brush remove all solids from the mill. Pay
particular attention to the motor shaft and the interlocking safety seals areas.
5. With a disposable cloth wetted with a neutral enzymatic detergent (i.e., pH6.0 - 8.0) wipe
all surfaces.
6. Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned.
7. Rinse the Motor frame with filtered running water until all cleaning solution is removed.
8. Repeat the above steps if needed.
9. Dry the Motor frame.
