               Objectives
                   •  Understand the key elements of effective communication skills when filling a
                       prescription.
                   •  Learn the different types of questioning & approaches when communicating with
                       patients regarding their prescription.

                       When we are talking about dispensing medicines. A pharmacist must take reasonable
               steps to ensure that prescription or order is consistent with the safety of the patient. Normally
               both pharmacists who work in the hospital and working in drug stores definitely receive a
               prescription and then they need to consider “ Is this item allowed?” .The pharmacist roles have
               more process not only dispensing a prescription but also dispensing a controlled drug that they
               may suspect the drugs and substantial potential for abuse and misuse of these medicines.
