Non-verbal communication means that non-words are involved in communication. The
example of it is facial expression.This form of communication usually occurs without a person
being aware of doing it.

- Non-verbal communication is more reliable and efficient as it is hard to lie by body
languages or facial expressions. On the other hand, words can be made up. Non-verbal
communication can be used to support and clarify the verbal one.

Type of non-verbal communication

● Facial expressions and eye behavior
● Gestures(a movement of part of the body,especially a hand) and postures(the way in
which someone usually holds their shoulders, neck, and back, or a particular position).
● Vocal quality and characteristics
● Personal appearance( a look of people, for example, a pharmacist has to wear a gown to
make professional appearance)
● Touching behavior
● Use of time and space( social space between people)
