RESOLUTION BY THE FINANCE AND BUDGETARY COMMITTEE
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A COMPUTER SERVER AND RELATED

SERVICES

WHEREAS, the Village Board allocated funds for various capital projects
and equipment per Resolution 2018-27; and

WHEREAS, Resolution 2018-27 included allocating funds for Technology
Upgrades for Village Hall; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board approved various technology updates in
2018; and

WHEREAS, the Village’s computer server is nearly six years old; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board believes it is in the best interest of the
village to replace the server in coordination with the other technology upgrades.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the purchase of a new computer server, setup, data
retrieval and related services at a cost not to exceed $14,000 is
authorized and approved.

2. The village will purchase the server from CDW-G.
3. Racine County will install the server.
4. That the funds for said maintenance project shall be taken from

Fund 101 Fund Balance.
5. That the Village Administrator is authorized to execute any sales

contracts or other documents necessary to carry out the intent of
this resolution.
