RESOLUTION BY THE FINANCE AND BUDGETARY COMMITTEE
AUTHORIZING ADJUSTING THE WAGE RATE FOR A PART- TIME POLICE

OFFICER

WHEREAS, the 2018 budget provided funds for part-time police officer position
in 2018.

WHEREAS, the salary rate hasn’t been adjusted since 2011; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board believes it is necessary to adjust the wage rate to
retain part-time Police Officers.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the part-time police officer wage rate shall be $22.00 per hour
without benefits.

2. That the funds for compensation were included in the 2018 Budget and
are limited to $15,600.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 5th day of June, 2018.
