RESOLUTION 2018-43

RESOLUTION BY THE FINANCE AND BUDGETARY COMMITTEE
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE 365 FOR VILLAGE SERVER

AND VILLAGE COMPUTERS

WHEREAS, the Village Board allocated funds for various capital projects
and equipment per Resolution 2018-27; and

WHEREAS, Resolution 2018-27 included allocating funds for Technology
Upgrades for Village Hall; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board authorized the purchase of iPads for the
Village Board and management; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board finds that the purchase of Office 365 would
accommodate technology upgrades; and

WHEREAS, CCB Technology has submitted a proposal for services to
implementation of Office 365; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board is satisfied with the proposal submitted by
CCB Technology.

WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that it would be in the
best interest of the Village to proceed with purchase using fund balance
collected through the closure of Tax Increment District #3, per Resolution 2018-
28.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the execution of an agreement with CCB Technology is
authorized and approved.

2. That the costs related to Office 365 shall not exceed $7,000.
3. That the funds for said maintenance project shall be taken from

Fund 101 Fund Balance.
4. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized

to sign any agreements or other documents necessary to carry
out the intent of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 15th day of May, 2018.
