RESOLUTION BY THE PUBLIC WORKS & CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND
STORM & WASTEWATER COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF A

TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT TO WE ENERGIES FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A ELECTRONICS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LATERAL

WHEREAS, WE Energies has contacted the Village of Sturtevant and requested an
temporary easement along South Willow Road south in order to run a natural gas lateral
known as the Electronics Information Technology Manufacturing Lateral through the village;
and

WHEREAS, WE Energies performed a market study and has established an offering
price of $2,938.50 for 1.959 for a temporary easement; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board agrees with the granting of a temporary easement to
WE Energies for the construction of a Electronics Information Technology Lateral.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the granting of a temporary easement which is set forth in Exhibit “A”
and incorporated herein, located along South Willow Road in the Village of
Sturtevant is authorized and approved subject to final review by the Village
Administrator and the Village’s attorney.

2. That the proceeds in the amount of $2,938.50 shall be placed in
account 101-44900-000.

3. The Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized to sign any
easements or other documents necessary to carry out the intent of this
resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 18th day of September, 2018.
