RESOLUTION BY THE FINANCE AND BUDGETARY COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A KITCHEN AT THE STURTEVANT POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, a kitchen for the Sturtevant Police Department was not included in the
construction of the municipal building; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board allocated funds in the 2018 Budget for a
kitchen/upgrades at the Sturtevant Police Department; and

WHEREAS, Wellcraft Electrical, Sturtevant, Wisconsin has submitted a quote for the
electrical in the amount of $3,500; and

WHEREAS, Herman Plumbing, Sturtevant, Wisconsin, has submitted a quote for the
plumbing the amount of $5,350; and

WHEREAS, the cost of the kitchen addition is under the budgeted amount; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board would like to proceed with the construction of a kitchen
at the Sturtevant Police Department.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. The contract for the electrical work shall be awarded to Wellcraft Electric,
Sturtevant, Wisconsin.

2. That the contract for the plumbing work shall be awarded to Herman
Plumbing, Sturtevant, Wisconsin.

3. That the total cost of the kitchen shall not exceed $20,000.

4. That the funds for said purchase shall be taken from Fund 401 from account
401-57210-820 in the 2018 Budget.

5. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized to execute
contracts, agreements or other documents necessary to carry out the intent
of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 16th day of October, 2018.
