RESOLUTION BY THE PARKS, EVENT PLANNING, AND VILLAGE
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE ENDORSING THE TREE / HOLIDAY FAMILY

FEST AS A VILLAGE SPONSORED EVENT

WHEREAS, the Parks, Event Planning, and Village Beautification
Committee have been proactive in creating events for Village residents; and

WHEREAS, a tree has been donated to the Village for a tree lighting; and

WHEREAS, the Parks, Event Planning, and Village Beautification
Committee would like to create a family friendly event along with the tree lighting
ceremony.

WHEREAS, the Village Board would like to authorize the Tree / Holiday
Family Fest as a Village sponsored event.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the event shall be a Village sponsored event.
2. That the Village Engineer shall work with the Parks, Event

Planning, and Village Beautification Committee to determine the
best location for the tree.
3. That the event shall take place on December 8, 2018.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin, this 16th day of October, 2018.
