RESOLUTION BY THE PARKS, EVENT PLANNING, AND VILLAGE
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING AN OFFER TO PURCHASE

OF WALLS FOR AN ICE-SKATING RINK

WHEREAS, Village residents have expressed interest in having an ice-
skating rink; and

WHEREAS, the City of Racine has walls for an ice-skating rink that are no
longer utilized; and

WHEREAS, a donation in the amount of $250 has been offered to
purchase the ice-skating walls; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board would like to authorize an offer to purchase
to the City of Racine in the amount of $250 for the walls for an ice-skating rink;

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. The execution of an Offer to Purchase is hereby authorized and
approved.

2. The donation in the amount of $250 shall be used for the
purchase of the walls for the ice-skating rink, and any further
request for funds will require further authorization from the
Village Board.

3. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized
to execute any contracts, agreements or other documents
necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 16th day of October, 2018.
