RESOLUTION BY THE FINANCE AND BUDGETARY COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING
ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE WISCONSIN HUMANE SOCIETY IN

REGARD TO ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES FOR 2019

WHEREAS, the Village of Sturtevant has been receiving animal control services from
Wisconsin Humane Society for a number of years; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Sturtevant is satisfied with the current services provided by
Wisconsin Humane Society; and

WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Humane Society is requesting that the Village of Sturtevant
enter into a contract for 2019; and

WHEREAS, a copy of said agreement shall be filed with the Village Clerk.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the execution of an agreement with the Wisconsin Humane Society for
the provision of animal control services to the Village for the year 2019 at a
cost for 2019 of $7,166.30 is authorized and approved subject to final review
by the Village Administrator.

2. The Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized to sign any
agreements or other documents necessary to carry out the intent of this
resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 16th day of October, 2018.
