               In the fifth round, Parkside team, particularly Michael Tunzi celebrated win over Yarraville.

                     “Parkside legend Michael Tunzi celebrated his 300th game in style with a five-goal bag in a big win
               over Yarraville at Yarraville Oval on Saturday.

               Coach Phil O'Keeffe described the elusive half forward as a "very inspi-rational man".

               "He's one of the great clubmen," he said.

               "The boys really showed him a lot of respect by playing well for him -on his big day."


               A triumphant Tunzi was chaired from the ground on the shoulders of his team-mates.

               It is a moment he will cherish for the rest of his life.

               Best players for the Magpies were Tunzi, Sami Sir, Ali Taleb, Mick Scott and Jed Pinkney.

               The Eagles were well served by Robert Goede-moed, Brett Devlin (five goals), Dean Comensoli,
               Steven McAnulty and Brett Cook.”

                 It was obvious, after round six that Parkside were shaping as the team to beat.

               The top-of-the-ladder Magpies easily overpowered an injury-ravaged St Albans at the Merv Hughes
                Oval. Tough as teak on ballers Michael O'Keefe and Sami Sir were unstoppable in the icy

               conditions.
