“Premiership favourite Parkside out-classed bottom-of-the-ladder Albion by 69-points at the Parsons
Reserve.
Dashing back-pocket Sami Sir was dynamic.
Sir is one of the favorites to win the 1999 Barry Priest Medal, the FDFL first division's equivalent of
the Brownlow.
Parkside (36 points) are six points ahead of second placed Port Colts (30).”

Forward-pocket Dennis Ryan enjoyed a day out as premiership favorite Parkside made mincemeat
of Altona at the Merv Hughes Oval.
Ryan showed he had recovered from a knee injury by kicking 10.6 in the remarkable 211-point win.
It was his first full game for the Magpies since round three.
Coach Phil O'Keeffe laughed long and hard when asked to comment on Ryan.
"He won't hand pass just a very hungry player," he joked.
O'Keeffe described Ryan as "just a class player".
"He's a fantastic clubman. He's very, very well liked."
O'Keeffe has some quality forwards at his disposal.
Captain and half-forward Michael Cammerino and full-forward Jed Pinkney kicked five goals apiece
against the struggling Vikings.
