Cock-a-hoop O'Keeffe was quick to praise assistant coach Michael Shepperbottom.
"He's probably just as much coach as I am," he said. "I owe him a hell of a lot. I love the bloke."
O'Keeffe insisted he would savour every moment of the glorious win.
The former Footscray player last played in a premiership back in his U10 days at Altona North
Brooklyn Youth (ANBY) back in the mid1970s.”
