COMPETITIOn

on January 18, the CMBA hosted the largest District Competition
statewide in the first stage of the ohio Mock Trial. Thanks to the efforts
of 78 volunteer judicial panelists and staff members at the Justice Center
and County Courthouse, 45 teams presented their best arguments on a
Friday afternoon, aiming to earn their spot at the Regional Competition in
February. Those that won both trials on Feb. 15 will move on to represent
our region at the State Tournament in Columbus March 7–9, where
Cuyahoga teams have always been among the teams to look out for!
