Timelines & Important Dates

Week One: March 30th – April 3rd
March 27, 2020 Principal Daniels met with the leadership team to discuss the
schools action plan for remote learning.

April 1, 2020 Principal Daniels will hold Faculty Meeting via Zoom with PAES
Faculty and Staff for Well-ness checks, to review the Remote
Learning Plan, and Building Logistics

April 1, 2020 Principal Daniels sent, via School Messenger, the ”Internet and
Electronic Device Accessibility Survey” to students and begin
preparing lessons for the week of April 13th

April 3, 2020 Principal Daniels will hold a second leadership meeting to
finalize the plan and share it with the staff and BCS leadership.

Week Two: April 6th – 10th
April 6, 2020 Lesson plans posted in new learning management system (LMS)
Schoology. This week should reflect wellness checks, iReady
expectations, and modeling what instruction will look like
starting the next week.
Lesson plans are due every Saturday by 11:59pm.

April 7, 2020 Grades are posted by all teachers.
Teachers submit list of failing students, Tiered Instruction
Groups, and end of year recommendations for probation or
dismissal to Principal Daniels via Schoology!

April 8-10, 2020 Report cards will be printed remotely and mailed by BCS Mail
Room according to BCS guidelines.
April 8, 2020 ILT will review failing student list, discuss end of year student
status, and make recommendations for probation or dismissal to
enroll in zone school.
April 9-10, 2020 Principal Daniels will call and email parents to inform them of
the grade repair/credit recovery process
Students can pick up work (created by C&I) at School Lunch Sites
as long as they are open.

Week Three: April 13th -17th
April 13, 2020 Remote Learning Begins with Direct Teacher Instruction with
Tiered Groups

Week Four through Week Eight: April 20th -May 28th
May 28th Remote Learning Ends
June 1st Final Grades Due in Chalkable
