Final Course Grades Protocol

For 1st-5thGrades

• Final grades will be determined by averaging grades from the 1st, 2nd,
and 3rd Nine Weeks.

For Kindergarten

• The 3rd Nine Weeks Grade will be used as the final grade for the
semester.

If the final grade is an “F”

• Principals will call and email parents to inform them of the grade
repair process.

• Teachers in grades K-5 will provide instruction and support using the
Remote Learning Plan decided on by the school.

• Teachers in grades K-5 will grade assignments and add those grades to
the 3rd Nine Weeks gradebook for students in need of grade repair.

If a student has not failed a course, they will continue to participate in
Enrichment activities.
