Page 416 - Chinese SIlver By Adrien Von Ferscht
P. 416
A early 20th century three piece tea set carrying the Kwan Hing silver mark. This is Kwan Hing’s version of a
much-used style of silver that almost every Chinese silversmith of the day carried in their regular inventory.
The Kwan Hing version has opted to have a completely round form and this is
mirrored in the fashion the handles have been created - they are rounded loops
rather than tapering loops. A chased dragon embellishment swirls on the
otherwise plain highly polished ground.
