            Although  only  found  using  a  so-called-pseudo  hallmark,  Wong  Shing  is  one  of  the  most  infuriatingly
            inconsistent with the format of those marks, which seems strange from a retail silversmith who, from the items
            that survive, demonstrates a consistently high quality of workmanship and style.

            Wong Shing silver has been found in the remains of several recovered shipwrecks from the 19th century that
            appear to have been California bound. It places Wong Shing and Cutshing items in the same category of quality.
