                                                                           A derivative mark of the Ye Ching mark;
                                                                           one  of  the  most  confusing  Tientsin
                                                                           s i l v e r  w o r k s h o p s  i n  t e r m s  o f
                                                                           inconsistency  of  silver  marks.  Ye
                                                                           Cheng-marked  items  appear  to  be  of
                                                                           the  same  quality  as  Ye  Ching;  the  Yu
                                                                           Chang-marked  items  from  the  same
                                                                           workshop  were  generally  of  a  more
                                                                           sophisticated design and calibre.

                                                                           This cake server is about as simplistic
                                                                           as one could get in terms of reticulated
                                                                           silver work.
