Two versions on a similar theme, these Ye Ching
circa 1900 boxes demonstrate another skill the
Ye Cheng workshop had - the arabesque scroll-
workwork and the rib work, both very
accomplished.

The following item was recently discovered; an intact
boxed Ye Ching caged decanter and six glasses with
reticulated holders.
This set tells us a lot about the difference between Ye
Ching and Yu Chang items; generally there was a more
simple array of silver and glass techniques used on Ye
Ching items, yet the silver marks were definitely done
by the same bench and hand.
