Incredibly rare - a circa 1910 cruet set in its original box complete with the original blue velvet lining in the lid
emblazoned in gold with the Yong Xing Cheng label [or “Yung Shing Cheng” as it is spelled in the box].
It is so unusual for original boxes to survive and certainly adds to the value of the item, often bringing with it
clues to unsolved mysteries about a particular silver mark. Original boxes of this era are really artefacts in their
own right, often examples of social history.
