An elegant white and russet jade ‘cranes and
peaches’ group
18th century
Carved with two recumbent red-capped cranes nestled amongst
a peach tree branch issuing two enormous fruits, the bird’s noble
features and distinctive plumage delicately incised, the stone of an
even white hue with russet inclusions.
