An inside-painted agate snuff bottle
Wang Xisan, cyclically dated bingchen year (AD 1976), the
bottle late Qing Dynasty
With a slightly concave lip, the globular body finely painted
with a continuous snowy mountain scene with scholars
parting by a pavilion, the shoulders flanked with beast
masks, the title, signature of the artist, date and seal
written within the ring of the handle, green hard stone
stopper.

A sea-green enamelled glass snuff bottle
Gu Yue Xuan mark, 18th/19th century
Of flattened pear-shaped form, painted in coloured
enamels with branches of blossoming prunus, bamboo
and peonies, the base with the three character ‘Gu Yue
Xuan’ mark in iron red, stopper.
The bottle 6cm (2.3/8in) long. (2).
