     A YIXING TEA POT

     MID-QING DYNASTY

     The tea pot is finely potted with a pear-shaped body, gently
     curved spout and C-shaped handle, surmounted by a dome-
     shaped cover with a bud finial. The base is incised with a poetic
     inscription followed by a Xu Hengmao signature.
     6 in. (15.2 cm.) wide, box
