A PALE GREYISH-WHITE JADE CUP WITH CHILONG HANDLES
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The shallow cup is raised on a circular ring foot and carved around the sides with three chilong
clambering up from the bottom to the slightly everted rim, the two larger dragons forming
handles. The semi-translucent stone has some dark brown speckling and some opaque buff
mottling. The base is carved with a four-character mark fu shou yong chang (perpetual blessings
and longevity).
