                           TWO JADE ARCHAISTIC TABLE ARTICLES
                           MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
                           One is a mottled grey jade cup with shallow, rounded sides carved on each side with rows
                           of small bosses centered by a whorl-motif medallion and fanked by a pair of loop handles
                           with a fat top and small angular hook at the bottom. The other is a small ‘chicken bone’
                           jade bixie-form water pot, with two horns swept back to the opening in the back and with
                           a bifurcated tail. The base is carved with two characters, lu fu, in a panel, and the bottoms
                           of the feet are notched.
