                           A YELLOW JADE ARCHAISTIC SCABBARD FITTING
                           LATE MING-QING DYNASTY, 16TH-18TH CENTURY
                           Of trapezoidal profle and elliptical section, the ftting is carved in high relief on one side
                           with a crawling chilong with a long, scrolling tail, and on the reverse with a taotie mask and
                           C-scrolls. The semi-translucent yellow stone has a spot of russet color and a small opaque
                           buff area.
