children celebrating the New Year above a landscape with
fishing boats and distant mountains, the shoulder painted
with a floral collar and the foot with geometric lozenges,
signed in gilt Yabu Meizan

by tea stands under flowering cherry trees, a group of
street performers entertaining in the foreground, the rim
decorated with a narrow band of floral lozenges, the
underside painted with floral scrolls and signed Yabu
Meizan in gilt
