           Meiji era (1868-1912), circa 1900
           Two of the three with covers, joined in a linear
           arrangement and applied with a handle modeled as a
           looped cord, decorated in polychrome enamels and
           gilt, the two exterior pots with beauties, their attendants,
           and children all in procession below geometric lappet
           collars, the covers with a central chrysanthemum
           surrounded by geometric brocade designs, each with
           a chrysanthemum finial, the central pot decorated with
           chrysanthemum heads, signed on the underside of the
           central pot Honda tsukuru (Made by Honda)

           A miniature Satsuma vase
           Meiji era (1868-1912), circa 1900
           Of square section tapering to the foot and decorated in polychrome
           enamels and gilt with scenes of people enjoying cherry blossoms in a hilly
           landscape among torii gates, and banners flying in a wintry landscape, the
           neck painted with brocade above a band of floral lozenges and geese in
           flight, signed in gilt Kozan

           HOZAN (ACTIVE LATE 19TH CENTURY)
           A Satsuma incense burner
           Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th century
           The flat sided ovoid vase set on two feet, applied with loop handles and with
           a domed cover finished with a bird finial, painted in polychrome enamels
           and gilt with two panels of visitors at a temple, and warriors storming a villa,
           the sides with geometric and floral designs and scenes of people dining, the
           cover with floral brocade patterns, signed Dai Nihonkoku Satsuma Hozan
           kore o tsukuru (This was made by Satsuma Hozan of the Great Land of
           Japan) 4 1/2in (11.5cm) high
