           Painted in colored enamels and gilt over a clear, crackled glaze with a
           beauty and attendants enjoying a stroll through blossoming cherry trees,
           and two beauties playing hanetsuki (battledore and shuttlecock), the rim
           decorated with a variety of blossoming flowers banded by linked lozenges
           around the rim, signed with an impressed seal Kinkozan tsukuru (Made by
           Kinkozan)

           A fine Satsuma dish
           Meiji era (1868-1912), circa 1900
           Circular and set on a low ring foot and decorated in polychrome enamels
           and gilt over a crackled glaze with two panels painted with an eagle in a pine
           tree by a waterfall, three dogs resting by a brush fence, and blossoming
           plants by a running stream, the surrounding areas painted with a dense
           geometric pattern bordered by chrysanthemums and scrolling vines, signed
           in the lower left of the eagle panel Sozan ga (Painted by Sozan), and signed
           on the underside in an elaborate fan and flower cartouche Dai Nihon Kyoto
           Awata Kinkozan seizo, Sozan ga (Made by Kinkozan, Awata, Kyoto, Great
           Japan, painted by Sozan)
