               for information research

              Intercultural skills: awareness of different cultures

               CEFR is used to scale the learner according to the
               level of achievement determined through this Matrix

               CEFR is probably the most relevant to business
               English learners. For Business English
               competences, it is advisable to have communicative
               competencies in place in such areas as linguistics,
               socio-cultural and academic learning skills. These
               can be measured against the Common European
               Framework (CEFR) descriptors.
