It’s also the solidifying of the ego in deep immersion of the swamp
        of your own reality.It’s the unmasking of passions before reason;
the knowledge of our clear truth, of our latent uncertainty into the
unknown, without veils, openly, without sacred music in the air. It
is the dialogue of silence in silence; the imperturbable dialogue in
calm with calm... It’s the active me with the observant me, It’s the
pure insight of knowledge of good and evil in our own judgments,
in our own acts. It’s the deepening of the essential self-analysis and
the cracking of the wild whip when we said, NO! That’s how it is...
the depths of hue value of our equally true values and altitude of our

These chats are friends of silence, friends of Peace, and friends of
Light Not of blinding light, not of knocking down peace, not of silence

But if I forget, doubt will return, ;twill return td emptiness, I will
wander aimlessly, trying to get away from chatting with my brother...

Putting this into terms of alcoholism, we substitute RELIGION for
        ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS.

The following figures make it easier to understand and trace the
progress of an alcoholic towards a normal life:

FIGURE 1. A normal life. All arms of the cross are equal just as
they should: Love, Work, Fun and Alcoholics Anonymous, in a well-
        balanced life program.
FIGURE 2. The normal pattern of our drinking days. Fun almost
entirely dominates everything else. Love is only minimal and has
become almost extinct; we have a certain amount of affection for our
loved ones, but our love for alcohol is much more. Work is found
