The program consists of a variety of resources for employees to complete undergraduate, graduate, continuing
eduction, on-the-job training and more. Each year, the program is evaluated and training resources offered within
the program are determined by employee feedback, effectiveness of resources offered, cost and E3 resources
available to implement each of the training resources.

To take advantage of any of the training resources provided within the program, please visit the E3U site,
https://e3federalsolutions.sharepoint.com/E3U/default.aspx. Before taking advantage of any of the training
resources, please make sure you select the resource page and read through the details to understand all of the
requirements before moving forward. For example, if you are seeking a Professional Development
Reimbursement, you must submit the Professional Development Reimbursement Request to your E3 Manager and
HR for approval prior to enrollment. Or for example, if you are interested in a GetInvolved, you must obtain E3
Manager approval before signing up for an initiative.

5.1.8 Training & Community Service Hours
As part of the E3 benefits package, all regular full-time employees receive this benefit. Employees who are not
actively working or are on a Leave of Absence (LOA) are not eligible for this benefit.

E3 has allotted 40 hours annually for employees to use towards training and/or community service. You have the
discretion to utilize the hours for company offered trainings, employee managed trainings or volunteer work for the
community. Our commitment to support your community involvement will build stronger communities where our
employees live and work. Please submit a request for approval on any scheduled training or community service
activities to your E3 manager ahead of time if it occurs during working hours. Employees should charge their time to
the PD/Training or Community Service Labor charge codes in Deltek and make a note of what the time was used to
accomplish. This benefit is offered to all regular, full time employees.
