If desired, employees may use any portion of their PTO while on unpaid jury duty leave.
You are allowed unpaid time off if summoned to appear in court as a witness. This benefit is offered to all employees.
If you need to take time off for jury duty or witness duty leave, you must submit to E3 Human Resources a copy of
the summons as soon as it is received. In addition, you must also submit to your E3 Manager a related proof of
service when the period of jury or witness duty is completed. No adverse employment action will be taken against
you due to your service as either a juror or witness in state or federal courts.

When a death occurs in your immediate family you may take up to three (3) days off with pay to attend the funeral
or make funeral arrangements. Immediate family members are defined as an employee’s spouse, domestic partner,
children, stepchildren, parents, stepparents, or sibling.
For non-immediate family members, employees may take up to one (1) day off with pay to attend the funeral of a
grandparent, aunt, uncle, in-law, niece, nephew, grandchild, or any person residing in the employee’s household.
This time off will be considered by your E3 Manager on a case-by-case basis.

placement fees, attorney fees, other legal fees and court costs, medical expenses related to the child’s birth, medical
maternity expenses for the child’s biological mother not covered by insurance, required medical expenses for the
child prior to adoption, temporary foster care expenses incurred prior to placement, immigration fees, immunization

medical exams for the adopting parents, costs of personal items, i.e. clothing, food, and expenses incurred while not
