Any unaccounted time during the pay period must be charged to PTO.
4.7.2 Delayed Opening
The federal government may be on a delayed opening due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g, inclement weather).
During these times, you should report to your worksite when it is open. You must make up any time missed due to
delays within the same pay period. If you are unable to get to work, or work remotely from home or another office
location, you will be required to use your accrued PTO.
4.7.3 Building Closures
Building closures may be caused by unforeseen circumstances (i.e., unsafe office environment, fire) at any point
during the work day. During these times, you should follow instructions as directed by the building management or
government personnel responsible for the facilities, up to and including evacuation of the area if necessary. Once
you are in a safe location, you should contact your E3 Manager to alert them of the situation and confirm that you
are safe.
You should report back to your worksite when authorized. In the event that the building is closed for more than one
business day, you should consult with your E3 Manager if your work may be performed at another location and
coordinate with your E3 Manager to make appropriate work arrangements.
4.8 Pay Transparancy Policy
While, in the interests of privacy and confidentiality, employees are encouraged to be sensitive and discreet in
discussing their compensation with others at the Company, E3 will not discharge or in any manner discriminate
against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay
of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other
employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or
applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a)
provided to Human Resources or counsel to assist with responding to a formal complaint or charge, (b) provided to
Human Resources or counsel in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an
investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the legal duty of E3 to furnish information.
