GIVING SOMETHING BACK
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL TEAMS WHO SUPPORTED
OUR SPEAR CHARITY WEEK.
Over the 1000 items of clothing have been donated by our members and almost £700
donated via justgiving to pay for clean underwear for the homeless. It has been an excellent
way for us to ‘give something back’ to people who need it more than us and we’re delighted
to see such a great response. Thank you also to our partners at Green Zone who helped
collect all the bags of clothes and delivered them to SPEAR.
In addition The Argyll Club has also donated
to two charities this Christmas as voted for by
you. Shelter from the Storm will receive £750
and Hackney Winter Nights Shelter £250.
These worthy charities will again help people
less fortunate than us this winter in London.
