Applying skills of application that were learned in your study of hermeneutics, carefully
determine how the principle from this text relates to current real-world situations that you face
in life.
Summary Application of this Text
Our situation today is somewhat different but in other ways like that of the disciples in this text.
While they were told to wait for God’s Spirit to indwell and empower them, we currently enjoy
this privilege. Having received God’s Spirit, we, like the disciples, are to work by telling people
about Jesus. Whether near or far, it is our responsibility to be His witnesses.
