Looking back and recognizing the incredible ways in which we
see evidence of God’s work is a beneficial exercise. It generates
thoughts of gratefulness and provides context that helps us
understand how we arrived at the present. Reflection helps
us identify and celebrate the wins that perhaps we have been
too busy to fully appreciate as they happened. Clearly God has
blessed the first ten years of Shepherds College, and we are
grateful to everyone who has played a part in our school’s growth
and development.
Looking forward is also a valuable exercise and, as thrilling
as it is to look back on the first ten years of Shepherds College,
I find it invigorating to consider the incredible opportunities that
the next ten years afford us. I invite you to partner with us as
we continue, as Shepherds has throughout our 60-year history,
to serve people with intellectual disabilities and do so with
excellence in an effort to point them to Jesus Christ.
I thank God for the work He has done and continues to do
through Shepherds College and desire His leading and blessing
on our school in the years ahead.
