FIRST CLASS OF STUDENTS
The first class of Shepherds College students included six students
from six different states. Collectively, they set the bar for subsequent
classes very high. Together they quarreled and laughed, cried and
prayed. Their care for one another was clearly on display. Their
skills and abilities were diverse, not unlike every class of students
since. The comradery between staff and students was unparalleled.
These students grew to represent everything we intended
Shepherds College to be. They were full of potential and determined
to make something of their lives. They thrived in community and
accepted the fact that God had made each one of them on and for
a purpose.
