10. SITE LOGISTICS

           SITE LOGISTICS
                                                                                            Barr & Barr
Barr & Barr will prepare a series of detailed site logistics plan that will depict every
phase of construction along with a written narrative that will clearly and precisely will work hand
defi ne the work that will be ongoing during that particular phase. Outlining the type
of work, durations, manpower, site and deliveries issues, hours of operation, noise and in hand with the
vibration concerns. We will always take into account that we are guests at your campus
and will schedule and plan with that thought in mind. owner and design

Th is plan will be the road map for the construction team throughout the duration of team in whatever
the Project. Barr & Barr’s on-site leadership will coordinate daily with the College’s capacity best suites
construction representative as to what is going on daily, as well as “work-look-a-heads”.
                                                                                         Mercy College.
It is the fi nal approved logistics and work plan that becomes part of the bidding
documents to the vendors and becomes part of their contract. (which is strictly enforced
           by our on-site supervision)

Our logistics and work plan is a dynamic document that brings together a culmination
of owner, design team and construction manager input to clearly document how the
project intends to proceed all while maintaining a separation of construction activities
from the public. Preliminary logistics plans start this process with the initial thoughts
and concerns of the owner considering the progression of construction in the most
economical, safe and effi cient manner.

Working with early input from the Mercy College user groups department heads,
engineering, and the Architect. All planning and coordination of these plans must be
reviewed, critiqued, and fi nally approved by Mercy College before we lift a hammer.
Th is process is essential in providing the least disruptive construction project for the
owner. Barr & Barr will develop an initial plan in BIM supported by a specifi c narrative
that will articulate the construction process from start to fi nish as currently envisioned.
