FPipette, 25 ml, Burette, 10 ml 35 - 70 1.5 - 3.0
FBeaker, 500 ml
FWash the weighed sample into 250ml volumetric
flask with distilled water, dilute to the mark and mix
REAGENTS
F0.3N Potassium permanganate thoroughly.
FConcentrated Sulphuric acid. FPipette a 25ml aliquot into a 500ml beaker
containing 250ml distilled water and add 10ml of
con.sulphuric acid. Titrate to the first permanent
PROCEDURE
pink colour with 0.3N KMnO .
FFrom the table below, transfer an appropriate 4
aliquot of Hydrogen peroxide sample to a tare
weighing bottle and weigh on an analytical balance.
