For many school districts, online distance learning is not yet a viable option
systems across Sonoma County--and across the country-- have faced an unprecedented challenge: pivoting from a regular school year to at-home learning with only a few days to prepare. While some systems have begun implementing comprehensive home learning plans, many are still struggling to connect students with reliable internet access, a critical aspect of effective distance learning.

Over the past few weeks, school

Many of us have been liberated from multi-hour commutes, obligatory corporate conferences, sales junkets, discretionary gasoline consumption, crowded classroom teaching models, and other activities which many of us never imagined we could change.
   Another incredible fact - in one week, the pollution in New York City dropped by half...unimaginable. There are hundreds of like stories.
In Sonoma County, the issue of internet access disproportionately affects our rural/remote districts. Students in districts like Horicon, Two Rock, and West Sonoma County Union High School District are
