Through these initiatives, the NYAA Gold Award Holders' Alumni and current participants play an
active role in developing programmes that empower seniors to remain socially connected,
engaged, and active contributors to society. These intergenerational community projects cultivate
empathy, compassion, and mutual understanding, enriching the lives of both the young and the
elderly.

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATUS
In 2024, the National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA) Association recorded a surplus of
S$221,790.00 (refer to Appendix 8 for the detailed summary of financial performance).
During the year, the Association received a total of nineteen donations, amounting to
S$1,307,905.00, contributed by seventeen donors. These contributions were secured through
targeted outreach efforts to corporations, foundations, individual philanthropists, and
longstanding NYAA supporters.
While many corporations and businesses continue to navigate economic uncertainties in the post-
COVID-19 environment—further compounded by global geopolitical tensions and conflicts—the
continued support from our donors underscores the strong confidence and trust placed in the
NYAA's mission and impact. The Association remains deeply grateful for the generosity and
steadfast partnership of our donors, whose contributions are critical in sustaining and expanding
our youth development programmes.
Through prudent financial management and responsible stewardship of resources, the NYAA
Association remains financially resilient and well-positioned to continue delivering high-quality
programmes that empower and develop Singapore's young people.
