Running a Great Shift Learner Guide

                                                Coasters on the Table
Drink coasters signify that first drinks have been ordered.

Drinks Have Arrived and Refills Aren't Needed
Leaders shouldn't leave their zone unless every guest has a drink in front of them.

                                                   Menus Removed
This means the order is taken. If menus are closed or piled on the table, you should take their order. Also
check for servers writing orders down.

                                                     Table Set Up
Does the guest have everything they'll need before they'll need it (i.e. side plates, extra cutlery, etc.)?

                                                    Food Delivery
Does every guest have a plate? Did all food items arrive within a reasonable time together?

                                                  Table Maintenance
Has everything that can be cleared been removed from the table?

                                                    Dessert Menus
                                            Have dessert menus been placed?

                                                       Payment
Has a bill been presented? Has it been processed?

                                                     Table Reset
Was the table reset as soon as the guests left? If there are more than 3 dirty tables in your zone, it's "all
hands on deck" to reset tables.

Always take action for the guest and then coach the team member.
